Rony OREN, claymator, illustrator, was born in Israel, 1953...


He lives in Byniamina, Israel and he works as a clay animator for over than 30 years.

Created, directed and animated 5 original series of animation with plasteline for children, like "Fox Fables" and "Tales of a Wise King". These series have been shown in the worldwide known TV channels such as: BBC Channel 4, Walt Disney and others.

Rony Oren illustrated "The animated Haggadah", that was published almost 21 years ago and sold more than 100.000 copies all over the world.

He also has illustrated more than 20 books for children. The most known of all is "Saul Tractor".

His series of books "Secrets of plasticine" is based on hundreds of workshops and sold more than 60.000 copies in less than a year in Israel. It is published in France, Denmark and soon will be published in Greece as well.

Rony Oren organizes plasteline workshops all over the world.

He is a Professor and Head of the Unit Animation of Bezalel Academy of Art & Design in Jerusalem.

"The Egg" is a clay animation series of 30 fillers 30" each, which always start with an egg falling to the ground. In each episode some thing different comes out of the egg, happens to the egg and creates funny and absurd situations.

"Foxy Fables" is a children clay animation series of 13 episodes 5' min. each, based on La Fontains fables. The main characters are fox, rabbit, bear and others. The situations always based on the less stronger animal succeed in out smarting the stronger one who tries to let him down.


TALES OF A WISE KING, I, II

"Tales of A Wise King, I, II" is a clay animation series of 26 episodes 6' each, based on oriental tales and legends of King Solomon, the wisest man ever, who knew to speak with animals, and his clever and unexpected ways to solve human and animals conflicts.


GRABBIT THE RABBIT

"Grabbit the Rabbit" is a clay animation series of 13 episodes 8' min. each, based on the African American folktales and storys published under the name 'Uncle Remus' by Joel Chandler Harris. The main character of the series is Grabbit the Rabbit who uses his brain and always succeed surviving and help the less strong animals of the forest.


THREE GREEN FROGS
